We work with various civic society organisations, government departments and national  institutions to execute high impact programming across the country.

Zimbabwe Political Parties Dialogue (ZPPD)

As a policy think tank, Zimbabwe Institute, (ZI), facilitates dialogue amongst political parties represented in Parliament aimed at achieving consensus on issues of national interest. Over the last 21 years, ZI has played a key role contributing to historic changes in the political landscape in Zimbabwe. ZI also advocates for inclusive political processes through promotion of women and youth political participation

CSO Strengthening

ZI facilitates advocacy efforts working with Heads of Civil Society Coalitions & Networks around proposed Bills. Additionally, ZI coordinates an organic voluntary CSO Consortium with over 60 organizations in advocacy work that seeks to create an enabling operating environment for CSOs in the promotion of democracy and enjoyment of human rights as espoused in the Constitution.

Support to Parliament

Zimbabwe Institute has a partnership with the Parliament of Zimbabwe and supports capacity building efforts at various levels. This support plays a critical role in ensuring that staff and administration of Parliament as well as Members of Parliament can effectively discharge their duties. The capacity building efforts are done both at a local and regional level.
