Zimbabwe Institute is a policy think tank which engages various stakeholders through facilitated high level dialogue aimed at building consensus and providing strategic leadership. The stakeholders include political parties with representation in Parliament, Parliament of Zimbabwe, Government Ministries, Civil Society Organizations, (CSOs), Media Organizations and Chapter 12 Commissions amongst others. Through facilitated dialogue, ZI works with the different stakeholders to nurture and promote democracy and to promote gender equality and inclusion.

Examples include the formation of Zimbabwe’s first Government of National Unity, (GNU), in which ZI supported dialogue among the 3 political parties and helped to build consensus.
